A few months ago, Microsoft(r) sent emails to domain owners regarding Outlook.com, which is what our email service was based off of. This email was to inform us that they would no longer be accepting new domains and limiting functionality of existing domains. While everyone that has one of our email addresses can still use them, we lack the ability to add new accounts for users and the free service no longer functions correctly. This is the second time an email host has gone the way of the retarded. We first used Google(r) Apps and they pretty much did the same thing.
After giving it some thought, we found it best to get rid of the "E-Mail" area altogether. Existing email accounts will continue to work, so don't worry. You can, however, expect this to be a temporary close down of this service. We will be actively looking for a new email host that will offer nice features and IMAP capabilities (which in my opinion, is a must). Once we find this said host for email accounts, all accounts will be moved and any and all email will be moved with it. At that time we will re-enable the service area. It is unknown at this time if we will allow free email account registrations.
Again, existing email account holders may continue to login and use their accounts as if nothing has changed. Our hands are pretty much tied by Microsoft(r) in their new direction. I can't say I agree at all with their decision as Outlook.com is one kick ass service. We are sad that this is happened.
